Welcome

It is with great pleasure that we welcome you to the St Joan of Arc Udayan Mission 2017 website, in anticipation of our visit to India in February. Today is one month before departure and our preparations for the trip are being finalised. I think I speak for everyone when I say we are excited beyond words to be visiting Udayan – a place we have all heard so much about and now we are finally off to visit the children. We hope to be able to provide all our readers with an insight into Udayan by publishing a daily diary (where technology allows) written by the students along with photographs. The Group

The group that will be going to India to visit Udayan includes 8 students, Mrs Weldon – a trustee of City of Joy Aid, UK, Liam Lynch and former student and trustee of City of Joy Aid, UK – Chris Mann. To read about each of the people please click on their name in the sidebar or below.

The Journey

The sixth visit to India will be spent solely in Kolkata with lots of time at Udayan but also visiting other charities supported by the City of Joy Aid, UK.
