Welcome to St Joan of Arc’s Udayan Mission 2024

It is with great pleasure that we welcome you to the St Joan of Arc Udayan Mission 2024, for our visit to India in February 2024. Udayan has been a whole school charity for St Joan’s since 2004 and the 2024 mission will be the ninth trip students from the school have made to visit Udayan. We hope that our website will provide readers with an insight into Udayan and our travels through our daily diary written by us, the students, along with photographs.

The countdown begins…

Week 1 Summary

As our first week draws to a close, catch up on the reels Miss Bowden has made of our journey so far...

Touring Kolkata

On our last full day in 'The City of Joy', we ventured out on a short tour around Kolkata.

ABC & ICOD

Breakfast in the hotel provided some variety, but once again murder was on the menu as Dcn Liam was seen off by the Traitors. Today we visited two other centres supported by the City of Joy Aid, UK - the umbrella fundraising organisation for Udayan.
